Radio Schedule and Shows

Weekdays

KTAOS Morning Show with Paddy Mac: 6 - 10am
Paddy Mac, Taos's favorite morning DJ, keeps you entertained and informed - faithfully - every morning. Find out what's happening as he interviews members of the community, touching on everything from politics to theatre to school fundraisers.

Hometown News
Keeping the community informed on all the latest happenings, from little league games to spiritual workshops, from PTA meetings to local protests. Submit your Public Service Announcement here:

Birthday Club: 8:15am
Listeners can call KTAOS to celebrate the birthdays and anniversaries of friends and family. On Fridays, Paddy Mac picks one caller to win a complimentary ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins.

Lost & Hound: 10:05am
Listeners can call 751-8282 (must leave message) to report missing or found pets from the Taos area. You can find daily updates at enchantedtaos.com.

Trash & Treasures: 10:10 - 10:20am
Listeners can call in (758-8882) to share their items for sale or goods that they’re looking to purchase, truly a flea market over the airwaves.

KTAOS Midday Show with Katie: 11am - 3pm
Katie's favorite part about being on Mid Days on KTAOS is that she gets to play new music for all of you while you’re at work, going to lunch or getting your hair styled!

Lost & Hound: 6:05pm
Listeners can call 751-8282 or email mel@ktao.com to report missing or found pets from the Taos area. You can find daily updates at enchantedtaos.com.

Moccasin Wire with Everett Romero: 7 - 10pm Mondays
Contemporary, traditional and powwow Native American music by Native American artists; and featuring interviews and discussions regarding issues of importance to Taos Pueblo and the listening audience.

Through the Looking Glass: Classics & Cover Songs Radio with Kent Lewis: 6 - 8pm Wednesdays
A diverse and often wild glimpse of the past and present of today's music. It plays – and then compares and contrasts – different artist's renditions of the same unforgettable song. Most of us have bookmarked our lives by the music we've listened to and if you have, then this is your show and you shouldn't miss it. Listening to this show gives musical continuity to your life and bestows emotion on your soul.  Music is the revolution! (Mama always said there are two kinds of folks: either ya are or ya ain't. If you have to ask what that means, ya ain't. But, if you give off to Through the Looking Glass you don't have to worry – ya are!)

Saturdays

Solar Country with Markus Kol'beer and Johnny Ray Rawhide: 9am - 12pm
Solar Country, when Markus is "at the wheel," features classic and "outlaw" country (Willie, Waylon, Johnny and Kris, the Possum, Burritos, etc.) as well as more local/regional fare such as Michael Hearne (and all his friends), Robert Earl Keen and, of course, the savior of Country Music: Steve Earle! When Johnny Ray Rawhide is at the wheel, you'll still get a morning full of country, just a slightly different country.

The House of Blues Radio Hour: 4pm
The House of Blues Radio Hour, hosted by Elwood Blues (a.k.a. Dan Akroyd), plays blues and other forms of music that have their roots in the blues, such as R&B, soul and rock & roll. Featured guests have included BB King, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santa, Bonnie Raitt, John Lee Hooker and the Rolling Stones.

Putumayo World Music Hour: 5pm
Hosted by Rosalie Hayworth, the Putumayo World Music Hour takes listeners on a weekly journey through the music of many different cultures, playing well-known names like Bob Marley, Sting, Loreena McKennitt and Santana, along with exceptional, underexposed international artists.

Little Steven’s Underground Garage: 9pm
Hosted by Steven Van Zandt, Little Steven’s Underground Garage takes audiences on a two-hour trip down the path of what was cool in all six decades of Rock & Roll, a celebration of Pop culture, and features the best emerging new bands worldwide.

Keller’s Cellar Somewhat Ruleless Radio: 11pm
Keller’s Cellar is an hour long narrated mixed tape of host Keller William’s favorite songs and artists. He plays whatever he wants as long as the songs don’t include any four-letter words!

Sundays

New Dimensions: 6 - 7am
New Dimensions delivers life-affirming, socially and spiritually relevant information, practical knowledge and perennial wisdom through the voices and visions of those who are asking new questions and are looking at the world in positive and inspiring ways.

Art of the Song: 7 - 8am
Art of the Song, hosted by John & Viv, brings listeners music and interviews exploring inspiration and creativity through songwriting and other art forms.

The Jazz Show with Rick Haltermann: 8 - 11am

Acoustic Café: 12pm - 2pm
Hosted by Rob Reinhart, listeners tuning in to Acoustic Café can hear the latest from today’s great songwriting talents, spanning a variety of music genres across several decades.
